Jeff Selph grew up in NC and received a BS degree in Biology from East Carolina University. He joined Burroughs Wellcome Pharmaceuticals Company in Research Triangle Park, NC. After a 31-year career in Drug Research and Development he retired from GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Company. Post retirement, Jeff became an entrepreneur and co-founded seven different technical and product development companies in NC. He became very knowledgeable about starting companies, raising capital and making them successful. During this time, he helped raise over $20,000,000 for these start-up companies. His titles and duties ranged from Chief Executive Officer, Chief Science Officer and Chief Operating Officer. In his career, he has co-authored a vast number of scientific articles and has authored more than a dozen issued patents. Jeff was also a member of the Duke University School of Nursing Board of Advisors for several years. He moved to Pensacola, Florida in 2012 to start and run a successful pre-fabricated housing company. He moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2021 to be near family and started consulting with a number of companies there, helping with business strategy, fundraising and technology. Jeff is currently on the Board of Directors of four companies. He enjoys golf, fishing, watching grandchildren, community activities and business consulting.
