Chief Scientist reports progress at CBD S&T Conference

Chief Scientist and Principal Investigator Paula Koelle, presented the company’s engineering progress towards a novel, fully integrated sample prep module as part of the rapid pathogen identification cartridge. The sample prep module is designed for blood, urine, swab, wound and synovial fluid and preps the sample for its rapid on-board direct RNA hybridization process. GeneCapture is currently performing on an STTR Phase II with Chembio Defense Agency to develop a portable rapid bio threat identification system.
